Tips writing for a profile
Tell people a bit about yourself (consider some or all of the following suggestions/questions in creating your profile).
- Include a picture of yourself, or something you identify with.
- Think about writing in first person tense as it can feel more personal.
- Why do you like doing what you do?
- What is your inspiration/passion?
- What accomplishments are you proud of?
- Do you have a relevant educational background or training?
- Include an anecdote /story/short history of why/how you learned your skill.
- What do you do outside of your participation in The Local Exchange?
- Proof read (have a friend or family member help)
