Born and raised on a small farm in Woolwich, I am a true country girl at heart! From a very young age I learned the importance of raising animals and taking care of the land because both provide food for the body and soul!
Being from a German background, I also spent a lot of time in the kitchen learning my baking skills from my mother. I know the importance of eating healthy, but also there is a time for indulgence! And that is what I specialize in! More sugar, more chocolate, more delicious!
I grew up loving horses and wanted to spend my life working with them and helping them, so I became professionaly trained as a farrier. A farrier is a person who knows how to properly trim horse's hooves and apply horseshoes. I have done a small amount of metalworking but I would love to learn more!
I also love to do crochet projects (hats, scarves, afghans, blankets, toys) as well as cross stitch, tatting, knotting and a variety of other crafts.
I hope to be able to provide a variety of seasonal plants and vegetables, farm fresh eggs, quality sweet baked goods and craft projects of a wide variety.
